		<description>Thank you Don, for your comment. I agree that we all need to be learners; students, parents, and teachers. It is often said that learning is best done by teaching. If we give our students more opportunities to teach others, their learning is deeper and longer lasting. We are fortunate in Local District 6 to have a superintendent who understands this and makes it part of our goal and mission.</description>

		<description>Mr. Gallindo's comments are critical because he acknowledges that we should all be learners as well as teachers. This applies to children as teachers as well. Children can be teachers as well as learners; this is often a way to reach children who are having problems with learning. In fact, recent research out of Vanderbilt University shows a marked improvement for peer tutors in their own knowledge acquistion when tutoring those at least a year younger.</description>
